Summer Camp

Join Us for Summer Camp at East Bay Waldorf School!

Our campus is a great place to spend summer days. We will be offering a variety of summer programs for students in Preschool and Kindergarten-8th Grade. Our program is open to EBWS families AND families who are not already a part of our school. Your child will enjoy their summer days on our 11-acre campus!


K-GRADE 8 SUMMER CAMP
Schedule and Options

Week One: 6/17 – 6/21
(K-Grade 8) Wildcat Canyon Camp

Wildcat Arts & Crafts, Storytelling, Theater Games, Mask Making. Explore, experience and create in the Canyon. Led by Elana Margolis

Week Two: 6/24 – 6/28
(K-Grade 3) Patterns

Each day we will explore patterns in a different culture, material or nature. Led by Shabana Shabaz and Helen Tadeo.

(Grades 3-8) Wildcat Canyon Camp

Wildcat Arts & Crafts, Storytelling, Theater Games, Mask Making. Explore, experience and create in the Canyon. Led by Elana Margolis and Emily Rubel

Holiday Week: 7/1 – 7/4
No Camp

Week Three: 7/8 – 7/12
(K-Grade 3) Around The World 

Each day we focus on a country on the map, talk a little about the history and culture, then craft and cook from that particular country. Led by Shabana Shabaz and Helen Tadeo.

Week Four: 7/15 – 7-19
(K-Grade 3) Gardening 

Each day we will work in a different area of the garden. Harvest whatever is in season and cook. Also, find things in nature to use in crafts. Led by Shabana Shabaz and Helen Tadeo.

Week Five: 7/22 – 7/26
(K-Grade 3) Adventure

These will be adventures in exploring texture, color, shapes, and nature.  Led by Shabana Shabaz and Helen Tadeo.

Week Six: 7/29 – 8/2
(K-Grade 8) Fine Arts

Experience the joy of drawing and painting. Led by Paula Piemonte.


PRESCHOOL SUMMER CAMP

We are also planning a 5 to 6-week summer program for our littlest ones.  Stay tuned for more information and exact dates. This program is open to all interested families.

No prior association with East Bay Waldorf School needed.

The Details

Hours

Drop-off:  8:30 am

Pickup:  1:30 pm, 3:30 pm or 5:00 pm

Camp Enrollment Deadline

Register for camp by June 1, 2019.

Cost

Prices vary based on the length of day.

8:30-1:30 = $250/week

8:30-3:30 = $375/week

8:30-5:00 = $425/week

  • We offer a 10% discount for each sibling.
  • Camp fees are for one child.
  • Camp fees are non-transferable and non-refundable unless a day or week is canceled by EBWS. There are no makeup days.
  • Full payment is managed through PayPal.
  • Please complete a registration form FOR EACH CHILD.
  • EBWS reserves the right to cancel a camp week due to unde-enrollment, for natural or manmade disasters or extreme weather events.

Forms

If your child is currently enrolled at EBWS, Emergency contact and authorized pick-up information will be pulled from your child(ren)’s current emergency form.

If your child is not currently enrolled at EBWS, Welcome!  We will require additional in formation to complete your child(ren)’s enrollment below.

What To Bring & How to Dress

Campers should bring a healthy snack and lunch, reusable water bottle, sunscreen and sunhat.

Campers should wear layers, El Sobrante gets both warmth from the sun and cool from the fog and breeze, all in the same day!

Valuables and any electronic devices should be left at home.
